The 2nd Annual Overwatch Community Charity Tournament for Mental Health

After raising over $1,200 to support mental health research in 2018, the Overguard is proud to be a part of the second annual charity tournament benefiting the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation! To kick off 2019, the Overguard, Console Gaming League, and LA Gladiators are all partnering with the Overwatch Community for Mental Health on a three-week series of multi-platform 4v4 Team Deathmatch tournaments with all proceeds going directly to the BBRF. With support from Battlefy and a great prize pool from the Los Angeles Gladiators (official customer player t-shirts), interested players must register by donating at minimum $5 to the BBRF, either as teams (in coordination with the OCMH’s leadership) or as free agents. Teams will then compete in professionally streamed and casted matches on Twitch for a chance at glory (and the prize-pool). Registration is now live for all platforms, with more details below.

The Brain and Behavior Research Foundation funds cutting-edge research surrounding mental health, its causes, and its solutions. With mental health being such a relevant component of gaming culture, the Overwatch Community for Mental Health seeks to remove stigmas while fighting for progress in mental health discourse. This tournament is a productive step towards that goal and all volunteers, partners, and participants are equally appreciated in their contribution. For more information and links, see below:

1. Register on the appropriate Battlefy event page

2. Donate $5 to the BBRF fundraising page (IMPORTANT: Please include your Battle.net Battle Tag/Xbox Gamertag/PSN ID AND the platform you will play on when you donate)

3. Join the Discord server
